Refund & Payment Authorization Policy

Quick Summary

  • 3-day cooling-off: Full refund if no credit reporting has occurred and no substantial work has been performed.

  • Before reporting begins (after cooling-off): Possible pro-rata refund minus reasonable onboarding/processing costs.

  • After reporting or substantial performance: Non-refundable.

  • Fraud/misuse (“cons”) discovered: No refunds and the account may be closed.

1) Scope

This policy governs payments and refunds for our credit-builder installment service. It is incorporated into our Agreement and Terms of Service.

2) Payment Authorization

By completing checkout and/or e-signing our Agreement, you authorize:

  • a one-time servicing/admin fee, and

  • either monthly installment payments on the schedule you choose or a prepayment of scheduled installments.
    All card/ACH payments are processed by PCI-compliant processors; we do not store card numbers on our servers.

3) Cooling-Off Period (3 calendar days)

If no credit reporting has occurred and we have not provided substantial services (e.g., identity/KYC review, underwriting, account setup), you may cancel within three (3) calendar days of purchase for a full refund of the servicing/admin fee.

4) Before Reporting Begins (after the cooling-off period)

If you cancel after the cooling-off window but before any credit reporting occurs, we may issue a pro-rata refund of the servicing/admin fee, less reasonable onboarding, verification, and processing costs already incurred.

5) After Reporting or Substantial Performance

Once we have begun credit reporting or provided substantial performance (for example, identity/KYC review, account setup in our servicing system, generation of the first statement, or verification/underwriting work), fees are non-refundable.

6) No Refunds for Fraud, Misuse, or Deceptive Conduct (“cons”)

If we reasonably determine that an order or account involves fraud, misrepresentation, identity misuse, chargeback abuse, or any deceptive attempt to obtain credit benefits (collectively, “con” activity), all fees are non-refundable, and we may close the account.
Note: Confirmed identity-theft victims should contact us immediately and provide an FTC Identity Theft Report or police report; those cases are handled through our dispute process and/or your bank.

7) How to Request a Refund

Email support@thebureaukingz.com (or use the portal) with:

  • full legal name, email, phone;

  • last four of SSN (for identity match);

  • order date/amount and reason for the request.
    We acknowledge within 2 business days and aim to decide within 5 business days. Approved refunds are issued to the original payment method.

8) Payment Disputes & Chargebacks

If you believe a charge was made in error, contact us first—we can usually resolve issues faster than a bank dispute. If a chargeback is filed, we may submit our signed Agreement, IP/device logs, and delivery evidence to the processor.

9) No Guarantees

We do not guarantee specific credit scores, approvals, or funding outcomes.

10) Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy. The Effective Date and Version will reflect changes. A PDF copy of the version in effect at your purchase is available upon request.
